Assistants:

Initially, this course was addressed only to the doctoral students of the NewFrac project, although some doctoral students from outside the project were finally invited too and also participated. In total, 13 participants took part in this course.

Required Knowledge:

Training action oriented to programmers and technicians who are going to work with a Git and Gitlab repository. It is desirable that the course assistants do have previous knowledge on Operating Systems and programming language.

Content:

Assistants will learn about Gitlab's concepts and functionalities. Specifically:

  • Installation and configuration
  • Usage of Gitlab to manage DevOps' life cycle
  • Usage of Gitlab for continuous integration/ continuous delivery
  • Development, publication and software testing on an efficient way

Duration: 20 hours
